Sharpening
Leuku's pictures have only had the minimum sharpening applied
to them. This allows our customers to manipulate and modify the picture before
applying the final sharpening.
Final sharpening depends entirely on the printing technique
and should be applied only when the picture is absolutely ready in the correct
size and resolution and in most cases even converted to CMYK.
Skilled professionals can also apply specific degrees of
sharpening in different areas of a picture to get the most from the image.

Sharpening is the last, most complicated and difficult task
in image preparation. Here are some basic guidelines.
1. Only apply sharpening once as a final step once the
image is the correct resolution and dimensions for final output.
2. In the case of Web Design or Newspaper work apply sharpening
only before saving files as JPG.
3. It is 'best practice' to apply the sharpening to a duplicate
layer in Photoshop so that problems can be easily spotted and corrected.
